At Genie in a Bottle Marketplace, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our refund policy carefully.

Your Right to Cancel

As a UK customer shopping online, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You may cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason.

To cancel, please notify us within those 14 days via our Contact page.

Returning Items

Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the item(s) to us.

You are entitled to handle the goods as reasonably necessary to inspect them — in the same way you might examine them in a shop. If the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect that reduction in value.

Where we have properly disclosed before your order that the direct cost of return postage applies to change-of-mind returns, that cost will be the customer's responsibility.

Refunds

We will process your refund — including the standard delivery charge you paid, where required by law — within 14 days of receiving the returned item(s), or within 14 days of you providing evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, the cost of returning the item is our responsibility. Please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact page with your order number and details of the issue. We will work to resolve this promptly, which may include a replacement, repair or full refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Exemptions

Some items may not be eligible for return under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — for example, goods that are sealed for hygiene or health protection reasons and have been unsealed after delivery. Any applicable exemptions will be noted on the relevant product listing.
